Understanding depression will empower yourself

Depression is the consequence of NOT ALLOWING YOURSELF 2 have what u want because you've imagined some (incorrect) reason preventing u 2 have what u want.

And so u are fitting a battle with yourself, which is a battle u cannot win.

The only way out is 2 believe (by disregarding the incorrect reason which u believe is preventing u 2 have the essence of what u desire) that u can have the essence of what u desire.

The way out is 2 think about what would (or the essence of) give u relief  (for guidance on how see http://wisdomfromwisedom.blogspot.com/2012/01/what-u-do-not-like-will-not-remain-and.html ).

- Give up 2 the idea that you can have what you desire
- Give up fighting
- Give up and do what it takes in order for u 2 be happy
- Give up and allow yourself to have what you desire in order for you to be happy
- Ask yourself: "what if I allowed myself 2 have (or the essence of) what I desire?" - Take comfort in knowing that IT IS IMPOSSIBLE for u 2 always think about the same thing and what u do not like.

What u do not like (cannot) will not remain and change

But while things are the process of changing, (you have to) use your imagination to imagine how u want things to be, in order for things 2 change into what u would like them to be.

As a I guideline, if u cannot imagine yourself feeling joy, try to imagine yourself feeling relief (ask yourself what would give you reiief and allow yourself to have it). Then joy may follow afterward.

And if you are having difficulties visualising the situation having improved, imagine telling to someone else or yourself what you would be saying if the situation had improved.

And if something has to happen or you have to do something for the situation to improve and at the 1st or 2nd or 3rd... Attempt to improve the situation you or /it fail(s), tell yourself that it doesn't matter because eventually after keeping trying u must but succeed. Leading you to feel with joy that before engaging yourself to improve the situation you will succeed.

Take comfort in knowing that IT IS IMPOSSIBLE for you to always think about the same thing and what u do not like.

And if you are still having difficulties, ask yourself if what you do no like will remain as it is (negative) forever. Most undoubtedly not.

Remember also that what you are manifesting "today" is the result of what u have been thinking/imagined, "the story you have been telling", "yesterday".

Therefore if today you have started thinking/imagined better circumstances, telling a better story, it is quite normal and acceptable that you may not see an improvement today. Therefore do not get upset or dishearten if improvement hasn't been manifested in the physical world. Just disregard it and give the universe time to "build" and bring about those better circumstances for you.

Rising from your own ashes like the phoenix

Going through a difficult period in my life at the moment, having lost something that is dear 2 me, i've asked my guide 4 help. The guidance that I received was in the image form of the phoenix, the bird that could rise from it's own ashes.

You 2 in difficult times, having lost something dear 2 you, may think of yourself as the phoenix rising from your own ashes and obtain again what was dear 2 you in some form or another.

Learn 2 be flexible with your desires

Sometimes you cannot get what u want right away and you have 2 settle 4 a compromise which can be so frustrating that you'd rather not settle and wait patiently 2 get what u wholeheartly desire.

However learn that sometimes settling for a compromise may lead u 2 down the line 2 get what u really want.

Patience made easy by replacing it with "eagerly awaiting"

Who wants to be patient ? Who find it easy to be patient ? not many people I am sure.

Having to to be patient conjures up images of having to put up with the absence of what you desire and buy your time, of being in a frustrating state of what you desire is not here right now. Not a pleasant state of mind to be in and no wonder it is hard to be patient.

Now replace the word "patient" with the words "eagerly awaiting". What does that change about the absence of what you desire ? (almost) nothing. What you desire is still on it's way to you, not there yet.

However far more important being "eagerly awaiting" rather "patient" changes your state of mind and outlook to a more positive one and that can make a significant change on how you feel about the absence of what you desire and shortens it.

Because if we take the premise that the universe always agree with you, always brings you the essence of  what you are thinking about, always support the the thoughts and beliefs that you have. Having to be patient, feeling impatient will tend to make you focus on the ABSENCE of what you desire, therefore the universe having no other choice but bringing you more of "the absence of what you are desiring", thus perpetuating it.

Whereas "eagerly awaiting" tends to put you in a state of mind of JOY, KNOWING that what you desire is on it's way to you, making you focus on the PRESENCE of what desire rather than it's absence. thus making you more positive about that whole "waiting business", thus shorting the time before what you desire comes into your life.

Meditation made easy (using self appreciation). Honest!

I will not enumerate the countless benefits of doing meditation to the mind body and soul. From improved immune system, peace of mind, drop in cortisol level, the list goes on.

However let's be honest trying to do focus on something, a mantra (transcendental meditation) or "do a body scan" (mindfulness meditation) isn't easy especially at the beginning. The words: challenging, tedious or boring, all springs to mind.

Even if you know that it is good to do, HAVING to do meditation for 20 minutes everyday can be as exiting as iron shirts. But here is an easy way.

If we're clear that when you are doing meditation, you are actually doing something good for your body, mind and soul, you can praise yourself for doing so.

What I mean is: instead of repeating a mantra, keep FEELING satisfaction for yourself, keep FEELING good with yourself, keep LOVING yourself, keep FOCUSING on those loving feelings toward yourself WHILE doing the mediation FOR doing meditation.

Because after all when you are doing meditation, you're doing something good for yourself :-)

It's kind of... I feel love for myself  for doing meditation while doing meditation, which makes me want to carry on doing meditation because I am doing something good for myself, which makes me feel love for myself  for doing meditation while doing meditation....
Other valid feelings u may experience toward yourself could be:
- affection for yourself
- being proud of yourself
- being grateful 2 yourself
- appreciation for yourself
- Tenderness for yoursel
- Loving yourself
 and any other positive feelings you may have toward yourself all for doing meditation.
And of course while doing the doing the meditation it is perfectly to switch and go through any and as many those feeling as you see fit.

Effectively we could view this form of meditation as a feedback loop of Loving yourself for doing this form of meditation.

 I hope this "self Love" form of meditation helps you like it helps me and puts a smile on your face like it does 2 me while doing it and do tell me if it works for u .
